Cover letter generator that starts from your CV
A good cover letter connects two things: what the employer asked for and what you have actually done. Sira CV drafts it from your finished CV and the job advertisement, so the letter and the CV tell the same story.
Choose the tone and length
- Professional: clear and neutral, a safe choice for most applications.
- Confident: more direct about your strengths, suited to sales, leadership and competitive roles.
- Warm: friendlier and more personal, useful for education, care, hospitality and non-profit roles.
- Formal: traditional wording for government, banking, law and many applications in French or Arabic.
- Standard or short: a full letter, or a few lines for an email body or an online form with a character limit.
What a strong cover letter contains
- The exact role you are applying for, and where you saw it.
- Two or three requirements from the ad, each answered with a real example from your CV.
- One sentence on why this employer or team, not just any job.
- A short close that states your availability for an interview.
Keep it to one page. Recruiters skim, so lead each paragraph with the point you want them to remember.
Edit before you send
Treat the draft as a starting point. Add the hiring manager's name if you know it, check the company name and job title, and remove anything that does not sound like you. The letter only uses the experience in your CV; it will not invent achievements, so if something important is missing, add it to your CV first.
Part of a complete application
The cover letter is available once you have purchased a CV, alongside LinkedIn headline and About text to copy, and interview preparation with feedback on your practice answers. Track where you applied in the dashboard's application tracker.
