Key tips

• French is the most common CV language in the private sector. Use Arabic or English if the job ad is written in it.
• A photo is common in the region but optional. You decide whether to include it.
• Date of birth and marital status are sometimes included but are optional. Add them only if the job ad asks for them.
• List your languages with a level, for example: Arabic (native), French (fluent), English (B2).
